My Canadian wife and I[US Citizen] attended interview at LA on December 2,2013.The VO was convinced about our relationship but there was a minor incident of breach of rental agreement on my FBI record occurred 18 years ago which I was not convicted for.I was advised to send a rehabilitation application with supporting documents within 30 days.I provided testimonials from Police chief, Public prosecutor and also from the store owner with whom the incident occurred including my state Police clearance and new FBI report.
How long do they take to make a decision in such a case?

Good question. I'm in the same boat with my wife who has an old DUI.

Rehabilitation applications are usually pretty low priority items for CIC. I've read elsewhere that they can take up 12-18 months to process. I've also read that if your PR application is dependent on the rehabilitation application, the VO will fast track it and get it processed within a month. That's all based on anecdotal evidence. Hopefully someone else has some more reliable info.
