Time taken by Sydney Office to cash Bank Draft

Hello All,

I sent my application on 15 Dec and it was received on 21 Dec. Today I checked with my bank and found out that the draft has not been cashed yet!

Is it normal for Sydney Office to take that long?

I designated London as my preferred visa office. Some people here are suggesting that applications for London office take longer to be processed. Is that true?

My application reached the Sydney office in the first week of Jan. I had the same question, how long does it take generally to hear from the Sydney office? Can anyone in the forum comment?

December and early January , their holiday seasons.
besides, it usually takes 2 months to send AOR from CIO. They will surely cash your DDs in a few days as there are many people inquiring that they are seeing ECas unchanged for a long time now. I am sure CHC's accross the world are clearing out some of the 2006 and 2007 applicants.
