I have applied for student visa through abu dhabi embassy on 18/03/2014. How much does time does they take to process the application and make a decision??

Missing Chandigarh. Very awkward, already on a student visa in UK, done very well at college in UK. Wanna tell Canadian embassy that Uk is costing me twice than Canada, so please accept my application for student visa. It is been four week, very tense whether a green light or red but official waiting time says 8 to 1 weeks while in my nearest visa office I would have got answer ages ago.
