Time span for 1st stage spouse sponsorship

Hi to all

Can some one tell me an average time for the 1st stage inland app to be process and approve ?
I was told 15 to 18 months but am not sure if that is for the 1st stage or total process

First stage inland today is showing 8 months. A few months ago, it was at 11 months. And with stage 1 processing moving from CPC-V to M, who knows where it will be in another few months.

When we applied it showed 6 months. It showed 6 months for every month after that. It actually took 11 months.

I saw the 8 months time span,, Is that 8 months from receive of app which is sept 2013 inland or 8 months from the time they start processing sept 2013 app ?
