how long it takes to receive new updates after medical passed?

I found this in cic website

I hope it's true and no more than 4 weeks!!
 
It is annoying as hell actually, I passed my medical on August 5th and haven't heard back from these people. I applied on June 2nd 2016 online and was requested to go through a medical exam on July 21st. It wasn't and upfront medical.
 
I hope that you guys or atleast some of us forum members get a positive result by the end of this week. I have passed my medical since the 28th of June and still not result. :(
 
Wow that is soo bad. I am scared that since I just the med recently would it mean I'd have to wait for this long as well. I think I lost all hope after reading what you've written.

I think I am the only one who has had this issue. Everyone I know got their results within 1-2 weeks of their medical pass dates. So Please don't worry. You should be ok! :D
 
Whoever you are, I sincerely pray you receive your paper and decision soon. May the God be with you.

Hey Wollyking, Thanks for the nice comments! I have just received a passport request letter from the CIC which says they need a blank page and that "visa cannot be issued more than the validity of your passport expiry date" so that means I have got my visa approval.

So yeah, you should be looking forward to a good answer also! :D
 
That is such a good news friend! I am so happy to hear about your development. Please pray for my result so I get the same news soon too... I am very nervous about my outcome.

Of course! You will by god's grace receive the visa very soon! Just be sure to be as ready as you can be in the meantime. As there are so many things you need to prepare for before leaving the country!

The problem is my classes are set to start on September 9th. I don't know they are sensitive at all to the urgency. I could lose a semester cuz of their insensitivity.

I just got the same letter yesterday ;D

but I am wondering why there is no confirmation letter or approval status is that normal because we need the confirmation letter during arrival at the airport
