Time period for getting open work permit after approval

I have applied for open work permit on February 18,2020. Today I got approval on IRCC website for my open work permit.
but, my question is that,
I how many days I will get my open work permit document?
Is it available online or via mail?

Hi Kevin. As per normal procedure they should send u an email asking for the passport if u are applying out land. Where are u applying from?

Hey Did you have to have a job offer for the Open permit? I am currently in canada as well but my permit expires soon, so I was wondering if I can extend my visa or apply for a Open permit.

As you are in Canada, the permit will be mailed to you. There are no further steps you need to take. Expect it to be several weeks for the permit to arrive.

An open permit means can work for any employer, a closed permit means you can only work for the employer the permit was issued for, nobody else. If you have a closed permit and leave the employer you would need a new permit to start working for a new employer.

Google "apply SIN".

There is no "SIN applied status". Pretty much no employer is going to hire you without a SIN.
