time of process for immigration to Canada

I would like to ask you about the duration time for processing of immigration to canada via skilled worker(federal)
For your info I am from Iran and I have received my file no. in May 2004
How long shall I wait till get my PR ?

In my experience as an immigrant myself. Prosessing time depends on your country of origin. The less the applicants the faster the processing, the more the slower.

But in what i'd seen processing in the middle east is faster that other countries. I have a friend who submit his application from saudi arabia and it only took 6 months. In other country in takes 18-36 months.
