I think your case is valid for sending an enquiry to CIO and ask them for the status

Hi - this kind of delay is unusual !

The average time to receive a response is anywhere between 50 and 75 days.

Assuming your application reached NS as you mentioned , it either has got stuck somewhere in the process because of missing information in your application form or they have already sent you the result of the eligibility review (through email or mail) and you havent received it . The CIO is sending responses through emails these days . Are you sure you have scanned your inbox (including your junk folder) ?

If you havent received it , then you need to contact the CIO in order to find the status.

This is unusal
1.You need to your your physical/postal address because it is possible the full application has been returned due to one error or the other.
2.It is also possible the the e-mail from CIO went into your spam mail and was deleted by you.
Good luck
Benny

Re: time needed to get the first reply from central intake office - skilled work

Thanks guys for ur prompt replies. Pls advise how to contact CIO???
Any phone number or email

Ankit,

I beleive this email address "FSW-Centralized-Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca" is a one way communication model.

or people at CIO are still searching for the "REPLY" button. ;D

hi everyone, been trying to seek for your advice/help regarding the status of my application as FSW in Canada. I lodged my application in CIO Nova Scotia last May 2, 2010 thru courier here in Australia (WA) and received at CIO last May13, 2010. After exactly 3 months last August 13, 2010 the processing fee of CAD1400 has been deducted in my MASTERCARD as payment. But until now which is a month ago after the deduction I haven't received any status update or acknowledgment thru mail or email from CIO. I don't know if my case has been forwarded to Sydney Visa Office here in Australia. What will I do? Hope for your advice to lessen my worries... Thanks and Godspeed...

You can contact them through this phone number +16139444000 then you dial their extension line 1-2-1-2-1 one after the other.

I hope this will help so quick.

They will ask of your date of birth, your full name, your NOC.
