Not sure how this is a big deal - they are still working to update the web site. The new rules are in place as of today (4 years out of 6).

Oh - and BTW - the calculator has already been updated to reflect the 4 years (new rules).

Unfortunately the Canadian government isn't the best with website management. I'm guessing it won't be all in order until at least tonight. And there will still be stuff missing for weeks.

The update calculator has still some bug, if you arrived with a Temporary resident visa.

This morning, when you put a date for arriving before getting PR date, the online calculator counts the time before PR, I think now they have corrected.
