time line for post

Hi there,

Our application (I hope) is nearly done- the processing update says that a decision is made.

Just wondering if anyone had any idea how long it takes for the post to get to you. We live in Northern Ireland.

All other correspondence came through email. Excited isn't the word to describe every trip to the post box.

So presumably you went through the London Visa Office?

If so, then the CoPR would be printed in London and mailed out using the Royal Mail, so should be a matter of days. Our own took 4 days, others have taken up to two weeks. The CoPR is a pretty underwhelming document, but hey, it does the job!!

We actually had to send to Mississauga and they forwarded on to Ottawa. I have a good feeling about it... just desperate for the letter to arrive and start making concrete plans!!!!

I confess that I do not know if because it was processed in Ottawa, whether it is then printed in Ottawa and sent by Canada Post internationally (if so, factor in 3 weeks min) or whether it is then printed in London and mailed from there (strongly suspect printed and mailed from Ottawa......). In any event, it is the very last hurdle and of course worth waiting for
