Finally ... after 50 months of wait (25 for a hearing and 25 for pr) my CAS shows “decision made”
I have two questions to you guys.
1. How long does it take to update my gckey account(it shows still “submitted”)?
2. I have an in-canada dependent in my file, his status is still “in process”. I wrote ircc a letter asking them to render my decision (my assessments were complete since beginning of March, but my dependent had a security pending) because I have a deadline to apply for a license that I can get only being a pr. Can it be because of that ?

Keep waiting bro! Nobody can tell. Just wait for an email notification for updates. Just forget and live your life until you hear from them. I have been waiting for my pr since 2016, I mean since I applied for refugee protection.

Do we need a background check from our home country for the PR or just a Canadian one? And when during the application do they usually ask for it? Like before or after the medical?

They proccess it usually before medical - but than security check take little time for some countries but some pass within month or two

My In-Canada dependent is outside Canada, so I can answer that email to confirm information only in 5 days when he's be back to Canada... ;/ ;/ ;/

"your case has been reviewed and an electronic copy of your confirmation of permanent residence (eCoPR) document has been uploaded to your file"

Please sign in to the Permanent Resident Confirmation Portal to view these updates:

When I sign in nothing is there it still show in review with IRCC anyone know how long it is going to take to recive eCOPR - and is it going to come in Portal or Gckey

For those of you who want to know how long it takes Etobicoke IRCC office to process PR Card please see my timeline below:
Mailed Copr letter and 1 passport photo to them on January 28, 2021
They received my mail on February 9, 2021
I got my PR Card in my mail today June 24, 2021
Good luck to everybody still waiting in all the stages of this immigration journey.
