When do you receive your temporary file number after submitting your PR application? Is the letter which contain your temporary file number called AOR?

yeaaa.. tomorrow is gonna be exactly 2 years of wait for me. I passed everything in mid March and still no update. I feel like my MP just called the agent and came back to me in a week saying the same information. we are cursed and you feel this unfairness in full when 2020s get their PR but dozens of people from 2019 are forgotten :/

At list everything is passed for you. May 2019 nothing passed yet. Today I send a message to the minister of immigration,Marco Mendicino , with a screenshot of my GC key and my ECAS. I am tired.

Hi, I’m July 2019 and application in progress. Nothing done yet. Only security in progress. I spoke with agent today and they said they are working on it. But for 2y? Ridiculous. I’m tired of missisagua office.

Yes. It will be stated on it.

Temporary no is just a reference file no which starts from X , it is not AOR , once they will start processing your application that time they will issue you your application no which will be almost same just without X , that will be your AOR .
All whoever applied around and after August 2020 are going through this process.

Hello everyone! I am a March 2019 applicant. My principal applicant got his copr in January 2021 and got his card in February. Our approval letter came together in December but it stated that CIC will give me an appointment for an inteview to proceed the further process on my PR. And it’s been 4.5 months since then and I have received anything. I called Cic many times and even asked my local MP to make a call on my behalf to get some information regarding my application but they always tell the same thing that everything on my file is complete they don’t want anything further from my side just the final decision is missing.
Kindly share of someone had a similar experience and how long is the wait time in such situations also if there’s anything I can do on my part.
