I had called the ircc office also....the agent says background check in progress.....criminality passed and security in process....but i dont understand the reason for transfer to local office for eligibility

my friend submitted his PR application before 2 years after his claim was accepted now he received a letter from Mississauga office that your application is finalized and Montreal office will contact you.

does it normal? Because i heard people get confirmation of PR through letter.

at this stage any possibility of negative decision?

If his status in ICAS is Decision Made no possibility of negative Decision, most the time if it negative will go under Secondary Review, so don't worry.

can anyone explained why he received letter stating that application finalized and montreal office will contact. Normally people receive PR confirmation letter. Seniors please reply.

What's he received is DM letter ( approval letter ) next will be COPR ( confirmation of permanent residence ) , that's clear enough

Since today my timeline bar disappeared in GCKEY account it’s was 97% and projected date of completion was 29th January. Only God know how long need to wait towards uncertainty. May End 2019 applicant, AIP received 12Dec 2020
