Today 28th of December, Tomorrow 29th of December, and the day after tomorrow 30th of December are all supposed to be business days, however lots of governmental agencies are officially off till Monday 4th of January. Exactly next week the whole government bodies are supposed to be back to work but hey... don't forget Covid.:p. The best luck for all of us!

I am effected by the holidays back to back but honestly I wish everyone could take this week off. This year was crazy, and it would be great if everyone is able to spend the last days od it with their family and loved ones.

I am not sure how IRCC maintain the sequence of applicant one of my close friend received AIP eligibility passed on 16th Dec 20 who applied for PR in OCT 2019 which is 6 months later then my application .

for the webform what i did is use an online free tool to resize my pdf to be under 2mb. in case you decide to resend through webform, just google free pdf resizer and use one

I am really tired to send dependents family documents to Singapore VO via webform as it’s not at possible to compressed file to 3.5mb ! I tried free as well as paid PDF compressed app. Finally sent via Canada post on 24 th and later found some print not clear and forgot wrote name on 11th of imm008 ( consent) and not wrote sister name in native language on IMM 5406 additional family information .
Finally made ready with all corrections and will send to Singapore tomorrow 29th via FedEx or DHL hoping mid of January they receive and process my file .

I guess because they digitized paper applications so now the process will be faster

Yes but different agents isn’t a new thing, the new thing as they mentioned earlier they were working on digitalizing paper applications so they can work on it remotely at home.
I was referring to where they compared their friend's application timeline to their own, nothing bout digitazing applications. Because there could be multiple reasons why the friend got AIP around the same time that they did even tho the friend applied 6 months after them. Even if the applications are being digitized there has to be some kind of order in which they do it. whether by date or what stage an application is in or has passed..

I have a question from the seniors. I got a letter today. asking for PCC and fingerprints. i tried to book an appointment which i got in Scarborough. Now the issue is we are three people to undergo biometrics. So when i tried to book an appointment service canada asked for Application number and my appointment is booked. Do i need to book three appointments seperate or one appointment is good for all. As we all have same application number. please advise. if anyone has same experience.

How did you receive the letter by mail or was it an email? Just to know if they are working today and tomorrow...

The new process (in Canada applicants) is After Dm you get the portal request you choose to or decline to use the Pr Portal. If you DO use the portal you submit your address and photo online inside the portal. When the address has been accepted by IRCC you receive your eCOPR which is uploaded within the portal and when the photo is accepted you're supposed to get your PR card by mail with a week. If you decline to use the portal you wait for the regular COPR by mail and apply for the Card the previous way by mail.
Hi Yoki, am at DM since 3 weeks and I received nothing from that time ! Do I expect first approval letter or COPR or portal invitation?

you already have approval if the decision has been made. then next thing is portal request then copr then card. could be weeks to months. it varies with no set time frame. i got my portal request almost a month after DM.
