Most important than any...... your family and yourself never step one foot out of Canada till you guys are all setup with PR card which I believe will take a month or little longer to received after you all are confirmed as PR in CIC system. Same to what they did with me with their phone call, they just want to know who is here and who is abroad!

My wife and children are in Canada and they got PR last month. With the eligibility letter, they asked me as an outside dependent to send my application to Cairo VO. I mailed it to the office but they refused to receive the application because there are a submission fee (small amount) that I did not realize. I resent it to a friend in Cairo who picked it up, paid the fees at the VO, submitted the application and got an acknowledgment receipt with a tracking number. The tracking number shows the file has been forwarded to IRCC.
Dear Jalal, Based on what you're saying,,,, when principal applicant inside canada get their PR and now it's the dependent abroad who need to file their application,,,, does this mean they have to pay application fees??????? do you have any source or link i can read on that and how much????? Pease help.
