Very judging ans. People like me who really want to go for pilgrimage but have heared that saudis dont accept RTD, whould choose to have the passport back. There migjt be other reasons. Dont judge people according to ur subjectivity. My apologies if ur find it rude....and they may never reply haha, they are maybe just writing on your file for CBSA to check your every move and as soon as you do something to just revoke your PR status, i never understood people who are like you, can't wait to be a PR to get your home country passport!! the same country you had to run away fromnow you want the passport back.. haha

When I called them 2 days ago. But I applied on beggining of Feb.
Can you use RYD or you have to apply PRTD now that you are PR?
It seems some people would get the PR and apply automatically for citizenship!
A friend of mine was here before for visit, he spent 4 months in 2016, then he went back in his country, but the hell broke and he fled the country and come back here in Canada and applied for asylum. After 6 months, he was accepted. with the current 22 months processing time, it means it would save him 16 months easily, which is a year and 4 months. If my numbers are correct, after 1 year and 8 months (if he gets his PR as planned), he can apply for citizenship!It seems some people would get the PR and apply automatically for citizenship!
No Before getting PR u cannot count beyond 12 months ! even if u have 36 months u count 12 months! That means everyone must count at least 2 years with PR to get citizenship

Hey same boat passengers, yesterday I received my CSIS ATIP Report they deliver it by post to me just on time, in the report, it just said SCREENING REQUEST INFORMATION CONFIDENTIAL STATUS: COMPLETED and that pdf file on DVD comes with a bunch of papers which they said if you wanna change something you can change your records by filling these forms and things like that, Also As I see there they mentioned "IRCC" as their client and they also mentioned we just sent information's back to IRCC in 2019, as you guys know I am 2018 applicant I am not sure if CSIS doing the whole process of the security portion of PR, they just try to verify the information you provide like parents info, addresses, travel history and stuff like that.
I am not sure why it takes a long time for IRCC to complete a PR process, I think its more traffic and lineup issue, otherwise, everything should be going pretty straight forward 15month.
