mine was expired in Feb 2020 but still, my profile says we do not need your medical.

mine was expired in Feb 2020 but still, my profile says we do not need your medical.
Today 4th Aug received medical request from IRCC.
applied : 29th May 2019
Acknowledgement: 15Oct 2019
RCMP and FBI: fingers print request 20Feb2020
Medical Request: 04Aug2020
Time-bar: 71% and expected date of completion 29th January 2021.

No jalal it said we don't need ur medical... but now says u passed medical exam on 4th Aug.
So i am really confused. U guys say that once medical is extended there r chamces to get DM soon afterwards. My timeline goes
Applied april 2019
AOR july 2019
Pc request 9 jan 2020
Criminality in progress
Eligibility and security not started yet
And medical extended on 19 feb 2020
So i am confused where i am at right now....
My file hasnt been touched after march 2020

That was my 2nd medical since i entered canada... and now extended ...
may be u only did one... and they will ask for the 2nd one as u still have a long way ahead
THAT IS A GREAT SIGHN!!!!! CHECK https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do and see if you see it change from in process to DM
There is no guarantee that after meds extended you will get a DM but 90% of the time that is what happens. you will get some good news soonnn

i will party with you when you get it and drinks on meI hope so too. Really want to start uni for my research studies but supervisors r bit relctunt to take u in when u r protected person.

2nd medical on 17th july 2019.( So this one also Expired).
Called ircc couple of days back and was told that criminality in process and Security and Background check not yet started.( Same as it was in my GCMS notes in Feb).
I have a question do they Process applications with dependents outside Canada in the same manner as with no dependents or with dependents inside canada living with them?
And how long i can expect my depends to be here in Canada once i wil get DM. My eldest son is 14 now.

By the way they update processing time to 24 months as covid 19 very good chance for ircc to delay applications and make people suffering
