I also received similar message and I received decision made 2 days ago. My advice for you is never to relent on your agility and persistence in reaching out to them. The file being moved to local office means they have to assign someone to clarify on issue(s) that elongate the process. All the best

Thank you.

I think first, it was due to my file transfer to local office for further assessment then Pandemic could be another reason. It was after I met my MP that I found out the reason why it was delayed and then they transferred it to Etobicoke. I write them through web form every now and then but they kept responding it was due to . My advice for all is if you notice your application is taking longer than necessary. Additional information was about status of my marriage and children

If you notice your application is taking longer than necessary, take a bold step, talk to your local MP. Call IRCC from time to time and issue web form as well. Do not sit back.

My best wishes to everyone going through same situation as we navigate this journey
