I finally received my PR card by mail after exactly four months and one week, from IRCC Etobicoke office.
Oh wow in February this year I was told to do fingerprint from FBI which I did and two months later I was told that my file has been transferred to Edmonton Alberta ever since then I have not heard anything from them. I have Family overseas US to be precise they haven't been asked for anything. Yesterday I try to create account in Portal but it's taking me a page where I can file a new permanent residence so I don't know how you guys manage to check your progress.@Whiskey2020 we have the exact timeline. What stage are you at? I sent my info and photo for review through thenportal and still waiting. My family who lives overseas also did medical examinations and passed them and they are still waiting for the next step. How about you?
Congrats in which city or province are you guys because I don't know how everyone is receiving their information from Etobicoke and I got an email from IRCC that my documents has been sent to Edmonton Alberta. I really don't understand what is going on. My application was from January 2020Hello All,

No, I received nothing. But since I had linked my PR card application to my Sign-In Partner account (similar to GCKey account), I could see the status changed to Approved and PR card issuance date. After a week of issuance date, PR card was in my mail.Did you received any email or confirmation prior to receiving on mail ?
I have always been in Ontario and my IRCC office has always been Etobicoke, that's where I claimed refugee status as well.Congrats in which city or province are you guys because I don't know how everyone is receiving their information from Etobicoke and I got an email from IRCC that my documents has been sent to Edmonton Alberta. Was that through PR portal or the normal way? If it s through the portal and it took 4 months to get it, this is not a good sign for us who are waiting.I have always been in Ontario and my IRCC office has always been Etobicoke, that's where I claimed refugee status as well.
I hope it helps.
