Usually it takes 1-2 months
I would want to agree with you as our situation is different. We have already spent 20 months so if they start security at this point, it should not take another year to complete the process. People who get AIP early in their applications, for them it makes sense if the rest of the process takes months to a year.

Hello Guys,

I noticed today my Biometric details (at the top right section of the profile) is showing my Biometric reference number and the date when I did my Biometrics upon entering Canada in 2017.

Does that sound as good sign, does it mean that some progress has been done in my case.

in my last GCMS, I found that my status changed from pending/bf to ready for cpa review on 8th of september. Also, I noticed that my medical results has been extended but the extension has not been reflected in the file.

my timeline is

-Application sent 25 April 2019
- Conformation of receive 20 August 2019
- medical request 11 september 2019
- request for RCMP report on 28 Jan 2020

No update after that

It is a good sign to see the change from Pending/bf to CPA review. I think moving forward you will see frequent progress. Wish you best of luck.

Hello everybody,

I hope y’all doing good and safe! I’m a February applicant and I couldn’t help but notice that most of the finalized applications are from March and April. So here goes my question, is there anybody from February who has not been finalized yet or is it just me and if so, could you please share your time line so we could all benefit and have a clearer idea of what’s going on.

Thank you and have a blessed weekend

I am a feb applicant as well. They asked for my resume about a month ago and that is the last update I have on my application in a year.

Same thing just happened to me two days ago regarding the biometric. My biometric section used to be blank but now it changed, it has the biometric number, date of entry to Canada and date of expiry.

my best guess is that they either just started processing Security (boo!), or they completed the Security search.

Are you a May 2019 applicant by any chance ? This seems to be happening to May 2019 applicants. I haven’t had that update on mine yet. I’m a May 7th 2019 applicant
