Your case is different!
People after 20 months that their medical is expired will get a new medical pass that can be a sign of the final step of the PR process.
I am confused now! Why mine is being updated 12 months after I submitted my application? By the way, I did my medical on January 2nd, 2019. So, mine expired longtime ago!

Now I am not sure. For Me I applied Nov 2018, Medical was Feb 2019 and expired Feb 2020 and was Updated to pass again today Aug 2020.

I guess in 2019 they changed the rules about medical. Now they can extend the medical results that we done before our hearing....i think in 2018 it wasnt the same n they usually asked p.r applicant to do medical after the it expired first time

For you it makes sense. For me, that update doesn't make any sense at all: Unless the agent drank a lot of wine the previous night and decided to give a pass to every file he was in charge of! :):):)

So people who r getting DM are 2018 applicant. We will know what is the pattern for 2019 applicant once we get there.
