Time line for New delhi Provincial nominee applied from Canada

Hello,

I have applied for PR in provincial nominee category from canada to New Delhi Visa office . My first AOR i recieved on 25th june 2013 and second AOR Recieved 23rd July 2013. All the applicants who r applying at Ottawa office are getting medicals within a day or two after they recieve their first AOR and getting their RPRF fees. My concerns are, as i have 10 months of work permit which will expire in August 2013 can i go for Bridge open work permit before four months of expiry? I got information that some ppl who have been laid off and applied for open work permit and their application is being processed CIC is declining their open work permit request. I am not sure how long New Delhi actually takes for processing the application as in the Second AOR which i recieved from New delhi clearly states that not into contact till six months.I have requested CIC New Delhi for information regarding the transfer of application from New Delhi to Ottawa which i didn't got any reply and I am not sure of getting one.

People are confused about their passports also weather I have to go to India for submitting the Passports or i can do it here?

Can I apply for other category like CEC and get an application number before august 2014 so that i can apply for Bridging open work Permit.
For CEC Reference Letters format shall be helpful as I have to get it done from my previous employer and present Employer.

Any information regarding this from Past n present applicants who applied to New Delhi office from Canada will be appreciated.

I applied for PR in March and got file number in April. I got letter from Delhi in June and no reply after that. My friends those chosen Canada visa office already got PR? I am not sure whether we can do medicals in Canada and submit passport here for stamping?
