Time line for FSW (NOC 4131)

hi all

my time line is as follow..
i send my first app to NS in feb09
recieved letter from them for full app sub to ND office on 6 mar 09
send documents on 25 june 09
docs recieved by visa office ND 29 june09
they send letter ack on 08 july 09
then i got letter for med+rprf+pp on 10nov 09
my app is IN PROCESS since 02 nov09
got med done on 16 nov09
send pp and rprf on 25 nov09

plz tell me how much time i have to wait now.......nd most imp
i really scared coz i have send my docs via ordinary mail.......just got the postal certificate for it......will they reach at the destination
i did so coz i was told that reg post/speed post/ courier is not recieved at PO Box no
plz plz help meeeeeeeeeee

I just ask u abt experience letter, actually i want to apply in NOC 4131( Economics Teacher- College Level) my point is what kind of college they will accept my experience letter,
if private college which is not registrated any board or anywhr is it OK? they accept? please guide me, Thanks

Congratulations! You just wait for a while to get passport back soon. Do they require a high score of IELTS for the NOC 4131? How about your IELTS Score?

Congrats! For sure you will soon receive your immigrant visa.

I am a newbie here and I have been asking other people here but got no reply. I hope you can help me. I am planning to apply for FSW too under NOC 4131. I am just afraid that I won't get approved as I don't have arranged employment and I don't have Master degree. I have been teaching English/ESL to Koreans and Chinese in a language school for more than 5 years. Do you think I would also get approved? How about in your case? Do you have Master degree? pls share your experience... Any valuable information that you can give for my application will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

thanks for ur wishes.....have crossed my fingers....
well regarding IELTS...yes u have to go for that ...i think atleast 7 bands r required.....
with 7 bands u can have 16 points for immigration to canada........minimum points req r 67 plz chk cic.gc.ca for further details.

plz dont worry.....first thing is that when u r applying in FSW u dont need arranged employment......rest plz chk cic.gc.ca for details on NOC ....masters degree is not necessary for this category.....exp req is at least 1 continuous year working with recognized organisation.....
my exp is from engg college ...i m a lecturer in electronics...

i applied to NS in feb 09
now have sent medicals...RPRF and passports.......waiting for visas

Hi navchd & other members

i am from Chandigarh and my NOC code is also 4131 - lecturer in engineering college. U can see the my time line as shown at bottom.

I am not understanding why they r taking so much time , it is now almost 4-months passed the submission of my full application and i ve not got medical request, i enquired about it by sending e-mail to ND office, they replied that my case is awating review by visa office....

my apprehension is that out of my total 12 years experience ; 7-1/2 yrs. in industry as Mechanical Engineer and 4-1/2 yrs. as Lecturer in engineering cllege- NOC4131 (teaching mechanical Engineering students)

because of experience in two fields my case is taking so much time?????
is it cause of worry????

plz dont worry .....

i had same case....CHC ND ask for a reminder if u dont get any reply after 3 months of sub of full app.....if u have done that u will definitely get med req, RPRF and PPR...all the best.

it doesnt matter if u have to diff profiles...


i sub my full app on 25 june nd got no info from them even after 3 months.....in oct 1st week i sent reminder to them nd on 13 nov i got letter for med RPRF nd PPR
