Hi

I need a quick advice. I got married one month ago and my wife is currently on study permit. I want to go to my home country for two months at end of the year but according to website it says that if officer denies you entry, the file gets refused automatically. So my question is : Is there any perticular timing within which we have to proceed with spousal case. Or i can wait till i come back to canada i.e 6 months ?

Thanks

This is for inland applications and is applicable to the primary applicant. Outland can come and go with no risk to application

The maximum after getting married? No minimum or maximum..
The maximum time you can wait? Isn't it at about 12 months? Is this what your asking?

Yes, am asking if i get late in applying because am planning to go back home for a reception party and meet my friends and family.. coz of that i would be late to apply as i got married last month and it would be approx 7 months after i got married.. would that affect my case or would i have to provide any clarifications about why i was late to apply for my spouse

You can apply 20 years after getting married if you want, it won't make any difference.

There you go!
