AOR Received.
November 15, 2012
Does anyone know how long it take for OTTAWA to transfer over medical results to Buffalo from time they receive your record? I know that they enter results into the system, basically, very next day. My medical reached Ottawa on December 14th and was entered into the system on December 15th. Since I did my medical prior to medical request form Buffalo, timing got messed up. It actually reached Buffalo on March 25th. Just wanted to see what is the normal time for normal processes. Also, how long does it take for buffalo transfer files or sent PPR after they have the medical?

at the same time. Once Ottawa posts it, it will be visible by Buffalo.

it would always depend on priority level your file is set to be. As a matter of fact, this level often corresponds to the type of application one has filed. It takes between 2-3 months in average, but the least I saw was 5 weeks under Quebec skilled worker.
Moreover, when applicants do medical by anticipation it might get lost or put aside and thus take a longer time to reach VO. For this reason we are encouraged to wait for the form first.

You are right though because once Medical are entered in and file no. was provided, Ottawa will either fax or scan and email reports. It's received faster that way.

I too did med'l in advance and provided Client ID so it doesn't get lost or misplaced, but little did I know that Buffalo had create a 2nd Client ID for this application. I recently got AOR+Med'l form and after a while I thought I'd ask them why they are sending me Med'l form again. They answered they did not have them at all. So, I contacted Ottawa myself to finally discover the reports were attached to an old FSW application. The lady assured me that dday my results will be rec'd the following week at most. I called her on Thursday and the following Monday, I had an email from Buffalo mentionning my reports were in now.
All this to show you how waiting for the forms from VO would have avoid me any worries. I am grateful though that I emailed Buffalo shortly after receiving AOR+form+info package.
