Dear members,

I have applied for my citizenship in Dec 2009 and called for the test in Feb 2011. I was given RQ on the test day which was completed on time. However the process took that long as my PR expired during this period and renewal of PR took almost one year.

With all these delays, call center staff informed that my Citizenship application is now approved and will be called for the Oath ceremony. My application is with Scarborough office. Does anyone have an idea of how long I will need to wait for the Oath ceremony given that my inital application almost 5 years old.

regards,

desparate to know; can someone give your views pls
Most of the cases where Residency Questionnaire taking about 35 months time are transfered to St.Claire offices.

Probably your case is been processed at St.Claire offices. If so, you can also visit "Oath timeline after at St.Claire" thread.

Have you ever requested the ATIP report, it provide an update about your pending case with concerned governmental agencies.

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do

You can file up the online form under privacy act, which is free but takes exactly 30 days to get an email and report.

Wish you all the best.
