Time for first AOR

Dear All,

My name is Aman, I am new to this Forum.....

Well I have applied for FSW under Social Worker category a month back under recent changes.. But I havn't received any information so far that whether they(CIC) have received the app or not....

Does anybody know much tym it will take to get the AOR, and also help me in understanding the phase wise processing of applications.

CIO does not intimate anyone about the receipt of application, you can get delivery report from your courier company. Applicants who had submitted application in July/ Aug have not got response till date so you can well calculate your time line. You will have to wait till January 2011 for the 1st AOR.

I have received the courier info, it shows it delivered on 21st of this month, yesterday I checked they have deducted Fee from my credit card as well.....

why I was confused is that as per recent changes they(CIC) is expected to decide on a case within 33 weeks(if I am ryt)... so if the AOR will be received in 2-3 months, how they gonna complete the whole process in targeted tym...

Hi guys. Thanks for the wonderful discussions. This is my first time commenting but I have been following this thread everyday since mid September. Keep up the good work. My question is "Can you do a medical examination for Canadaian Immigration while you are pregnant?" I was hoping this immigration process would be over within one year but the way things are going, I highly doubt that. I need to start my family and I cannot sit around and wait for a response from CIC. Application received by CIO Sept 7, NOC 4152. Dont know if bank draft was cashed.

My application reach there on 9/9/2010, but i have recieved nothing from the CIC.
