time for completion of formalities at first landing

How much time it takes to complete all the formalities at first landing ..which form i should fill in advance to shorten this time
please help

Also please tell me my flight is via montreal ie via quebac would they allow me doing landing formalities there given the fact that my place of destination is toronto

1. Depends on how many persons land at the same time and how busy Immigration is, should allow at least 3 hours between flights.
2. You will "land" in Montreal, as long as you have proof of onward transportation, no problem.
3. No forms other than B1/B2 goods to follow can be completed in advance.

Ok i will be at risk since i have total two hours layover and i feel i can do the formalties in one hour...

My we landed at Vancouver airport at about 6 PM. The paperwork took maybe 30 minutes, but there weren't many people there.

I am planning to move in next August.We are 4 in number.Me, my wife & 2 kids.I will land at Toronto airport. Then go to Edmonton. Can you please tell me how much time it takes to complete immigration process? 3 hour transit will be ok for immigration? Please share...

If i somehow misses my connecting flight from Montreal to Toronto(am having 2 hrs layover at Montreal which i feel is enough for completion of immigration formalities and landing) due to immigration formalities what are the options available to me to catch another flight or can i go out of Montreal Airport and stay in Montreal for one to two days to catch next available flight to toronto

There are flights about every hour between Montreal and Toronto, the airline would just book you on a later one.

One doubt answered here many time but again asking,

I got PR as a FSW candidate

If I select flight from India to London to Montreal to Toronto, is it fine as per POE consideration?

any one have same exp they landed first time at Montreal and than connecting flight somewhere further?

where will I required to complete landing formalities?
the flight I am choosing is haveing 1.15hr at Montreal, is it ok?
