Time Extension for PCC

Hello Members,

Does anyone experienced to have some time extension from CIC in regards to getting PCC after the deadline. I want to know if someone experience this and if it is usually granted.

I will be late for a PCC from abroad about 30 days, just wanted to know if they grant the extension. The last date for submissions medical, PCC and Land Fee is 9th June. I have all the documents except the PCC from Germany !!!


Please let me know !!

Hi ! I am in the same situation as you. I am asked to send FBI report from USA and I only have 90 days to send all the documents (MR, PR and residence fee) but the FBI report process could last up to 14 weeks. I asked in other forum and someone told me that you can write to your visa office (mine is Mexico City) and ask for an extension, he said that they usually give you 60 more days.

I think you should write them by email and tell them that you already have all the documents but you are just waiting for the Police report. I am planning to do this when I have all the documents.

Hi,

We are also in the same boat. My hubby is currently in Netherlands for an assignment and has requested PCC in the Indian Embassy. They told him it would take 2 weeks to 1 month to get PCC. He will be following up today and if they say it might take some more time , we will be dispatching rest of documents and informing VO about our situation in order to get an extension.
