Time after medical exam passed

Hello,

I applied for my study permit online back on April 22nd, and this has been my timeline since then:

Biometrics given: May 3
Message for interview: May 14
Interview date: May 29
Medical request received: June 11
Medical exam given: June 17
Medical exam status passed on GCKey: June 22

However, since then, I have received no correspondence from IRCC, apart from a ghost update on July 10. I expected a decision to have been made by now, as usually a passed medical exam and ghost update are good signs for a passport request. It has also been 4 weeks since having given my medical, which is the stated processing time. How much longer can I expect to wait for a decision? I applied from Pakistan by the way, where the processing time is 8 weeks, which has definitely been exceeded.

TO be honest, it's hard to tell. I have seen people who got medical request either got their visa within a few days or a week or within months or are still waiting.... So it's really hard to tell for a response. I am also in a similar boat.. Applied at VFS Lahore on June 21 with upfront medical, but got a medical request on July 7 despite upfront. Sent a webform to them to link my present medical. Medical passed on July 14.

Now it just says reviewing your eligibility and processing background check.... So it's hard to tell.. The wait game really hurts
