Last night I received a ticket for driving with a handheld device in hand.
It comes with a fine and 3 demerit points.

Will that affect my police check at all?

i dont think so
If you have been convicted of driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs, you will probably be found criminally inadmissible to Canada. But as of March 1, 2012, you may be able to get a temporary resident permit for one visit without paying the C$200 processing fee.

I was not impaired at all. Was just going through my contact list on my phone. About to make a phone call. That's all. Undercover police officer got me downtown Toronto with a phone in hand. So shouldn't affect me at all?

No, it will not. I would be more worried when your insurance policy renewal comes. That's the only thing it will affect.

That's the least of my worries now haha.
Just made another post about my employers website my employer has been bankrupt for over three months and the website just went down. Will that affect me. I just got an update on my profile today as well should I send a CSE? What do you think?
