Oh lord, the Singapore office changed its processing time estimate to TWENTY months. :'(

ohh too bad!.. was thinking about transferring the file to this office... looks like it's not a good idea...

Well the update I have is that my wife will be landing August 1st! Tickets are booked and barring any delays this ticket will be confirmed shortly. I cannot even begin to express how happy I am that internet video chats will be replaced with hand in hand walks during the evenings by the beach!

HI EVERYBODY!!!
A bit late to be posting on this thread, but maybe there are others still waiting like we are...
a couple of questions.. i would love to post my timeline in my signature, but i dont have the
option to edit my profile, just change passwords and stuff.. but ill give you a quick rundown
so that if you are still indeed updating the grid of september applicants, you can put us
in there as well, that being said, we have had a strange situation as we waited 3 months for
one document request to be sent (federal police) and another (second medical request and
request for payment of RPR fees (already paid) was sent to the wrong address, ripped open,
and only given to us 4 days before the deadline)... but this might help people keep faith,
as its been a lot longer and complicated than we thought, but i think we are almost there..

Still waiting for a reply on the passport.. we ended up sending via DHL, even though we knew
it would take a bit longer, but we are in the cancun area, and weve already spent a bunch
of money travelling back and forth to various offices around mexico..
my question is, if anyone that reads this has sent their passport through mail to mexico
city, if the timeline they estimate of 1-2 weeks is accurate? ive looked around and found
very few instances of people who didnt fly to mexico city and get it in person.. which 20/20
hindsight tells me maybe we should have done... hehe.
ok well, for those of you still waiting, have faith! and for those of you already landed in canada

i must be one of the last ones to have my wife get a visa from the September group BUT I was in Hong kong on July 14th for a interview with her and she was told to come back on the Tuesday to recieve her visa I was in the room for all of the interview and it lasted mybe 15 minutes with very few question to myself or her

We started processing ___________'s application on July 18, 2011.

my hubby has done his 2nd medical check up. does anyone know how long it will take them to request passport ?

Hi Everyone!

My wife landed in Toronto on July 28 (we bumped things up once everything was cleared to go) and we took a mini vacation. Took 40 minutes from landing to grab bags and get out of customs! They were very courteous and were very surprised we had all our paperwork in order...particular B4 and B4a forms! This made the experience very pleasant.

Wish the rest of you the best of luck and my wife and I will check in to help others going through this experience!

Good luck everyone and remember all good things are worth waiting for (even if it seems longer and difficult than it really should be)...

After my wife's second medical it took 5 months or so for PPR...but that was Damascus

Well my husband finally got his passport back with a visa in it, so maybe you were all alone from this thread as of today!

Good luck.. They said most cases a resolved within 12 months of Lima receiving it, and it was, give or take a few days! All things must end, so you'll get there ... eventually!

Wed. will make 10 weeks since our medical re do. In process since April..what are they doing over there? Lol

Still waiting here. We got an information request which we just sent off. It was for things we had already included in the original application so I'm not sure what that's about. It was the first acknowledgement we had received from them. CAIPS notes told us nothing. I expect a medical redo since they have long expired. I hope it comes soon.
