Awesome bonbon9 i dont think it matters if they do give any information about your case when they are getting your passport ready. Your all good. Hey just to confirm PR is for 5 years right? Is there anything i can do for you in Mexico city while i am here. We are going back o Canada at the beginning of march so i can mail things to Toronto from there.
Do you think it will be a problem that we are moving back to Canada while we wait for PR? I know we will have to change my husbands address for further documents but other than that seeing as he has his 3 year multi visa i think it should be alright.

That's your passport request, why are you worried? Some people's ecas never changes even after they land. You're done enjoy and relax.

Yes, PR is valid for 5 years, then you just have to renew the card (you don't have to go through all this hassle again thank God).

You could have a tamale and atole or pozole or enchiladas in my behalf, oh my God how I have been allucinating about those things... But then again you can do that anywhere in Mexico for me. Thank you very much for asking!

I don't think it will be a problem as long as you let the embassy know about the change. Your AOR letter should say that they need to know specifically about those changes. If your AOR letter is like mine, the address in it is actually wrong (D use this one:

As for pozole i have had it 3 days in a row, enchiladas si and the most delicious quesadillas. I will think of you when i eat them ;D

Congratulations!!!! If they email you everything is fine sometimes they don't update the info on the website I never got an update on ecas until this month and I had gotten mail and e mails from them so you are all right!

PPR!!!~!!~!!~!!~!!~!!~!!~!!~!!~!!~!!~!!

We can't believe it was processed so fast! Funny part is that I dropped my passport today at the Mexican Consulate to renew it on my married name. I'll have it back on Friday and send it to Mexico on Monday. Anyway, we're so excited and happy to see the wait is finally over!!

Fingers crossed so everyone else will have their loved ones next to them soon
