Got excited seeing chole had already had an answer and have been checking E-Cas daily. Still keep getting the

"We were not able to identify you using the information you provided."

Boo for us at the bottom :( !

Hopefully we'll hear back sometime next week! Although, when I first looked at processing times in September for sponsorship it was 27 days, now it is up to 38 days. But looks like our September group are getting their letters quite quickly!

Congrats, From what I know of the Aug. thread. People are getting passport requests like 1.5months after submitting application to Mississauga!!!!! :o Like how the hell!? They are fastest I have seen and you may be together for Christmas! Wish that was a possible scenario for us ???

Waiting is so very hard, but it is nice to see that we are not alone. So many of you are in the same position that it gives me hope.

Hello Purple_woman . Yes its the waiting that hurts the most , not knowing what is actually happening . I miss my sweet wife .
Seems it takes nine or more days before application work to get to Canadian embassy overseas .

Good luck to you also , and everyone else thats still waiting .

Have faith .

Yep :) Some people get them and others don't. Some people get them right when they arrive at the visa office and others get them a month before they are issued their visa. I think it depends on the immigration officer (IO) that you have. More people than not get them though.

Ok then, I am starting to think that maybe I am the luckiest person on the September list!!!

I received my AOR letter (with all of the barcodes for future correspondence) dated September 28, 2010.

I wonder if this is because I am applying to Quebec and now Buffalo have to wait for them to finish before continuing, Who knows?

Bonbon can you please update me on your next list update - fingers crossed the rest of the process is this quick!

Cheers,
Mark.

Hi I just send my application yesterday, since they will receive it in september I will be using this thread to post my process! My outland application will be process in Mexico city! Good luck to eveyone!
So how is the process so far, i just sent mine to Mississaugua as i am the sponsor then it will go to Mexico city for my husband.

Hello guys I have something to share and get some opinions because I may be doing a big mistake! I'm in Canada with my partner right now but I'm tired I mean sick of my job the owner is a tyrant and does not treat me well, I have been looking for another job but since i don't have an open work permit is kind of hard. So I was thinking in doing to Mexico for a while in the meantime the process is finished and I can comeback and work anywhere I want. I'm really afraid of leaving my love? but I'm also afraid of having only 1 income if a quit my job... I'm desperate now, I'm Lawyer and I know i could get a better job in Mexico right now!!!! Is hard to live a long distance relationship? I have never been separate for more than a week!!!

Has anybody had applied for an open work permit after the sponsorship approval in an Out land application???

Cheers!!!

My husband just received a letter from the embassy requesting for his passport and AOR! Yay!! :) That was quick, though I know there's more stuff coming up.. The letter was dated October 14, 2010 so it was the same time as they started processing our application! ;D
AOR and passport request on the same day! :D Can't wait for the next stage! :D :D :D

Welcome to the thread, New Wife! We're glad to share our processes here and support eachother through them :)

GT25 I would try to stick out your job unless you can find another one and get a positive LMO. Unless you want to be seperated from your wife and most likely not being able to return until you get your PR. I don't know if I'd want to risk being seperated.

That is great news about cezvi! How did he get his PPR so quickly? Amazing! I didn't know that was possible!
