Good idea. I'll just give my timelines below.

April 12, 2010 - Application was received in Mississauga.
May 17, 2010 - The Sponsorship application was approved and the file sent to Brazil for processing
July 7, 2010 - My wife recieved a letter from Brazil office that her PR application was recieved May 26, 2010 and is being processed
July 23, 2010 - Brazil office sent letter asking for wife's passport to issue the Visa
 
That sounds so great! I can only hope ours moves along as quickly :) If you don't mind, what is the nationality of your spouse? My husband is a dual citizen...he is a Brazilian citizen now, but of Nigerian heritage.
 
Hi guys im going through Sao too and it has been a ride lol.But all is good and my wife should have her passport in the next month.

She is a Brazilian citizen.
 
Out of Sao Paulo also....

Documents were requested on June 8th in regards to my wife's son..., went to the embassy and gave it to them on june 24th.

Still waiting....

Well comp dont stress to much bud,im sure it should change soon a letter is coming your way.They never change the status though,my wifes is still the same in process.
 
You all make me feel optimistic about a speedy process...am so missing my husband :( I am sure you understand what I mean. 19 days!! That is so great iarblue!
 
So the letters that you received, were they sent to sponsor or to applicant?

They were sent to the applicant.
 
Not ready to apply yet, as we are still in the planning stages of the wedding, but happy to see some people and information about São Paulo!

Owwwww 12 days till interview god ill be glad when this is over it does not only effect the mind,but good god the money.........thousands of dollars.

And she will need to go to Sao Paulo for the interview...plane and hotel probably to pay, eh?

Yes flying and hotel in Sao Paulo she is from Joao Pessoa.And taxis as i dont want her roaming around Sao Paulo byherself not the safest place for that.
