urgh! how long is this going to take. Every 20th of the month that we do not recieve correspondence is more discouraging then the last. The have accepted our case and have proceesed his ARC and they have had his passeport for 2 months now. It seem the closer we get the farther away we feel. My husband is talking about returning to canada "mujado".We are trying to do this the right way but it seems almost impossible. I can't even believe that we have made it through this thank god we are incredibly in love and in love with our daughter. But i dont know how much longer we can wait before we need to plan our lives somewhere else!

I know this situacion is frustrating but dont give up I sent my husbands passport in march and am still waiting as well I know its frustrating but its better to do things right then being in canada with your hubby MOJADO and always being scared that he will got caught I know what this feels and its not nice especially with children in between, your time will come u just need to be patient I wish u the best.

Hey everyone,

we went to the embassy today to see if my husbands package was there (we had an email saying pick it up BY the 17th of May) and they said they received a package of peoples passports and papers and such however they hadn't opened the courier package yet. SOO if you had decision made on your CIC thing and you are waiting for your passport back in Costa Rica, I highly recommend staying by your phone and waiting for a phone call tomorrow!

Ooooooo! Hubby called the consulate this morning at 9. They said they had no correspondency (d'uh!!??) and that he had to call again before noon. He called at 11:30 and they said: yeah, we have a package for you, please come tomorrow to pick it up.

Sooooo we'll have the answer TOMORROW awwwwwwww we are so damn stressed... anyway, gonna stay in touch tomorrow to tell you what's up!

Can someone help me that why Guatemala taking so long for visa stamping, I notice everyone has to wait long time to get the passports back with visa, I really don't understand once they request passport they should stamp the visa in month or two month time, like mine, I submit my passport in December, and still waiting, for my passports, is there anyone has idea is there any quotas systems or any other approval they waiting for? from head office, my case FSW please advise, and do you think they call for interview or anything since we submit passport that long.
