URGH. UPS were supposed to have my passport in London by the end of today and theyve royally screwed up. It's still sat in a Richmond sorting office somewhere, when I rang the guy said "just keep checking the tracker"

I felt like telling him all I've done for the past 7 months of my bloody life is check trackers haha! I did ask for compensation though, $72 to get that guarenteed in London today and it hasnt even left BC....

Grrr!

I was warned off DHL. It's just my typical luck, oh well! Hopefully it's just a minor blip and its sorted tomorrow. Very very annoying though

Its a pain for sure Kelly, yes go for the claim, we've had two guaranteed service turn up late - both times got refunds
It'll get delivered, just chill and try not to check too often

i send e-mail fax and letter but not getting any response any one got response of email fax or mail please write it for me so i can check if am sending reminder on wrong address ?

Curious about something: The application was delivered to Mississauga yesterday, but since I used FedEx I couldn't send it to the P.O Box, so I think it has to be sorted or something before they start working on it? Anyone know? When I try to check my application status in ecas I get an error message saying they can't find it, so I assume they haven't started working on it. Anyway, just wondering how long it took for you guys from delivery to Mississauga until you were able to access your application status in ecas?

We weren't able to access ecas until they had actually made a decision which was about 35 days after delivery.

Alasken, mine was the same, you wont be able to see it in ecas until they make a decision, or very close to the time they make a decision, after a month or so.

I see! So there is no way I can be sure that my application has been received by the correct department/people and that they have started working on it until they've made a decision? Or is there a different way than ecas? I still have a lot to learn about what happens after the application has been sent in

Nope! You can check its arrived at Mississauga only using the tracking from the courier you used to have it delivered. Other than that, its a waiting game!

I shall definately be going for the claim. I just tracked it and I have movement, but it's gone to Seattle WA, Louiseville KY and Philadelphia. This can't be right? Do you think I should call them again, I don't even know why it's in the US at all....it's addressed for London England
