Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Unfortunately, very common to have problems uploading via GC Key, often times they do not enable the upload button (GC Key is pretty flaky).

Personally, I would have sent the paper versions in the same envelope as the original photos, but sending them by webform should work as well. Once they have all of the docs they asked for, they will issue your the treasured CoPR, then you are good to go for landing.

I would start getting your stuff together for the move and have a read of the other stuff you need to know for landing (goods accompanying / goods to follow etc.). Useful reading here on that:

We've already made our landing date for June 21/2019 so we're very much in planning mode! I'm going to visit him in England and we're coming back together on that day. He's only bringing 2 suitcases with him with the rest of his stuff since each time he's visited me he's already been bringing clothes and things along with him this whole time. They won't think it's suspicious if he doesn't have any goods to follow listed right?

I’m off to Edmonton as my partner’s family are all based there. We’d like to move to move to Calgary in the future though.

SAME! We'll be in Edmonton for the first few months and then we are moving to Calgary. We MUST all meet up to celebrate when all is said and done!

I'm a UK applicant that's gone to Mississauga, any chance I can get put on the London tracker too? I've had no update since the transfer on the 27th Feb, and I'm assuming CPC-M don't update ECAS till they're ready to more or less change to DM too

No problem not having no 'goods to follow' quite a few people 'move light'. Just do a list for his 'goods accompanying' (i.e. the contents of his two suitcases).

I hope ours goes as quickly but we seem to be stuck. Everything progressed really quickly as my husband was able to get his biometrics and medical done within 24-48 hours of receiving the requests and CIC has them logged. Now we're waiting to transfer to VO that doesn't seem to be coming, unlike many of our other Feb 2019 outland cohorts. Maybe this week! (fingers crossed)

Everything progressed really quickly as my husband was able to get his biometrics and medical done within 24-48 hours of receiving the requests and CIC has them logged. Now we're waiting to transfer to VO that doesn't seem to be coming, unlike many of our other Feb 2019 outland cohorts. Maybe this week! (fingers crossed)

We are married and I (the sponsor) live in Texas and my husband is a British citizen that lives in the UK. We're hoping like crazy our application is approved by the end of the summer so we can finally(!) live together in the same country in beautiful Nova Scotia.

Seems like UK Applicants are more prioritized in LVO, I swear from all the threads and forums I've visited they're all within 6 months or less...

Seems like UK Applicants are more prioritized in LVO, I swear from all the threads and forums I've visited they're all within 6 months or less...

Not in my experience and observation of the spreadsheet. UK applicants that are sent to London VO take a current average of 9 - 10 months from receipt at CIC to decision made. I have never noticed 'preferential treatment' other than to say that in general applicants from visa-exempt countries do seem to be processed more quickly than visa required countries.

I've got a few of changes:

• Married to Common Law
• Sponsor Approval was the 18th Feb.
• Background Check in progress 29th Jan.
