Huh? I don't recall saying that. If I did it was a typo. The facts are in my timeline.

To be precise, I was never asked to send a copy passport, that was the closest of the 'set categories' in the forum that I could use to indicate decision made (which is what PPR is generally also considered to be, at least it is on the spreadsheet I look after).

Congrats for AOR2, I hope you receive the Positive final decision soon.

Question, could you please paste the AOR2 letter in the reply section? Of course, DO hide the specific details to your application. It will be very helpful to read the subject matters of the AOR2 email. Please and thank you.

Hey I didn't receive a letter of any sort but they send you an email of the file being transferred to LVO or whatever may be in your case... after that ecas adds a line "we have started processing your application on whatever the date is"

Thanks..I hope so too but I highly doubt it'll be fast..people are waiting months after AOR2 as well. Let's hope for the best

Hey everyone! Sorry to interrupt but if anyone can answer I'd appreciate it: Do british citizens need to send in their original passport to the VO when PPR or COPR is requested? My partner is english but we've applied out of NZ so the Sydney visa office forum just says all aussies and kiwis are "visa exempt" so only passport copies needed. Looking to see if anyone can confirm for UK citizens. Agents at the call centre refuse to answer, and we're looking to plan a vacation but don't want to get stuck passport-less. Thanks!

Any applicant from a visa exempt country only needs to send a copy, NOT the original passport.

What FrostiRose said. They may or may not even request a copy, they didn't for my wife (British) and went straight to issue of CoPR. Also note they don't 'request CoPR', the CoPR is what they send to you as the final step - that is the piece of paper that entitles you to land in Canada and declare PR.

how many months after aor2 does it change to we are processing bgc? ... and what are the stages or changes post aor2? the last update on my gckey says we do not need additional docs.. aor2 was sept 21st. London VO

Good afternoon! Can you please update the spreadsheet with new info?
File was transferred to LVO 9/22. Background check started 10/4. Decision Made 11/1. Thank you!

that was fast when did u submit ur app? my aor2 was sept. 21...

App was received in Mississauga February 28. There was a long period where nothing was happening. But once the application was transferred it didn't take very long at all to come to a decision.. :) All in all eight very very long months but so worth it in the end! This forum made the process and the wait more bearable. The shared experiences and expert advice was invaluable.
