Not been on the forums lately. Been on a visitor visa for nearly 4 weeks now. Nightmare. Got asked for a police cert from Australia. Waited for that and uploaded it 2 weeks ago and now with al these computer issues I think the delays will be worse. My app changed to need additional docs again (hopping it's a glitch) however im thinking because of the glitch my app isn't getting flagged as needing review again so it's just sat there doing nothing. This whole process is a nightmare

You can submit a CSE to try to see what's going on. You can say that you've uploaded your Australian PCC, but you're a bit worried because your portal says additional documents again, so you're not sure if it's a glitch or if there are further documents. Just be polite and succinct and hopefully you'll get a response. Hang in there, lots of others in the same boat right now!

Yeah sent a CSE when i first saw it. Im guessing they are flooded with them atm because of the system issues. I called and they said that because i was an outland app only the LVO could see the fine details of my application. Does anyone know a number where i can contact the LVO?

You can't call LVO unfortunately. All you can do is send a CSE or a direct email, links to both are in the FAQ. Fingers crossed it's sorted quickly....

Sounds awful - mind if I ask, what happened to your first application? You wrote back in Nov 2015 that you were ready to send your application "tomorrow", but are now clearly an Oct 2016 applicant - did paperwork have a problem the first time that could be slowing this down?

Okay so i havent been on here a while, since i been away, I have finally Landed in BC Canada, - the flight was delayed at London Gatwick for 8 hours, so of course it was very late when I arrived... however the process was quite quick through security. was asked lots of questions around my goods to follow, but i followed the whole process so they were just confirming what i had stated in my forms.

SO have been here just over a week now, and had sorted out my SIN number, driving licence and bank account all by done by day 3!!!!

Now just relaxing and taking it all in before looking for work!

Hi everyone, my husband is filling out Schedule A form and we are stuck on the education history and are confused how the British education system translates to the Canadian one. We are unsure what is considered Elementary, Secondary, and College/University as college in UK is different than in Canada. For example his education is:
4 years Lower School
4 years Middle School
3 years High School
1 Sixth Form
2 College
3 University

Help would be extremely appreciated, thank you so much!

He needs to translate it to the normal UK system - primary (what Canadians call elementary) is up to 11, secondary school 11-18, university/college 18+.
