Just wanted to get some advice. I've been asked for additional documentation (photos, updated police check and schedule A). Just wondering how to send it. Should I send it via email or through carrier?

You can usually see on CIC after you get sponsor approval. Given you were approved in March, you should definitely be able to log into ECAS. What error are you geting? Have you checked the troubleshooting suggestions in the FAQ?

What did your letter say? Because they also requested photos I would think you'd have to mail it. Use a courier so you know it got there.

I can view on Ecas but I read somewhere that MyCIC will have the information viewable in the notes that people order... Just hoping once that's all in order it'll show something to give us hope that our file has at least been looked at... It's so hard to be patient!

Apparently paperwork is really dangerous these days! I have no idea why it sat in Customs for so long, I was beginning to panic that it had been lost. I mean after all that work, could you imagine being told it was missing?!

But! All is well now, at least as far as I know. Hoping to get AOR1 soon and access to eCAs, and really hoping for a quick SA. Obviously we had plans to move by Christmas time, which has now all been pushed back thanks to Customs. All I really care about it that it got there right now lol

Email stating no receipt of doc on 27th June 2016 - Sent again 27th/28th/30th June 2016
PPR today (posting necessary docs tomorrow).


One last question please: my UK work permit is in my old passport. Should I just send my new passport only, or both?

Ummmm I would send that one as a case-specific email marked urgent. I'm not certain, honestly. I would think only the new one, but I may be incorrect... Anyone else have any idea?

You should staple both passport together (both passports last page staple together) and send them both.
