My partner recieved passport request on June 10. I just want to double check, he's from scotland so do we send in his actual passport or a photocopy of it? Another thing is our visa office is Ottawa yet it mentions to send our papers to London. Did you guys send it to London when your visa office is ottawa is well? Thanks for the help

Hi tina,

Send a photocopy of the passport. Despite being processed in Ottawa the COPR is printed in LVO. Good luck!

Hello,

I was wondering if someone can shed some lights on this. Below is my summary so far

Category : FAM
Visa Office : London
App. Filed : March 22, 2016
AOR Received : April 16, 2016
SA Received : April 26, 2016
Sponsor's application processing started : April 29, 2016 (online status)
Med's Done : March 7, 2016 (upfront)

According to 'Timeline for Family Class Sponsorship via London' spreadsheet for some applicants Stage 2 decision was made within 3-8 days. The processing office says it's Ottawa though they are outland applicants. I saw an earlier post form a member saying although they mentioned that the file will be sent to LVO but the CoPR was received from Ottawa.

So the question would be, is there any way to know if my wife's application was sent to Ottawa or LVO? In my SA they mentioned it will be sent to LVO. How are some applications getting processed so fast?

Finally got SA.

Can someone update the spreadsheet.

SA received today - 13 June.

Processing office will be London.

68 days for SA.. Average in April has been 27. There was a delay as they asked for clarification for a date in our app.

Hi everyone! Just a quick update to say that we (finally!) received the CSQ. For anyone wondering or going through the same thing, it took 49 days from the day MIDI received the application to the day we received the approval, which is longer than most/the average, but yay! Now back to waiting.
