Oh you need to get your MP involved . You should have received it by now.

Thanks Taffy,
How would I find out the name of my MP? i'm british and my partner is Canadian living in montreal.
My Immigration lawyer keeps telling me its on its way but refuses to chase anybody saying it might "piss off the officer"ß

also my representative ordered my case notes at the beginning of november and they still haven't arrived… they sent me the tracking number but it isn't recognized, i called ATIP and emailed them leaving messages but no answer to date. Is this normal?

Get your husband to google Mp in his area and he can go give them a visit or at least a phone call . As for your notes i didn't receive ours either from November , so just last night i sent for them again. Even though my husband has landed. I think i screwed up on our notes in Nov for some reason because i have always received them before.

JULESB82 - Is there any possibility that CIC/LVO might have more than one address in file for you? Have you applied for anything through LVO before this PR application? I'm asking because LVO recently sent my COPR to the address I was living at when I applied for a study permit in 2013, completely ignoring the new address I gave in the PR application forms. I agree with taffy, you should get your MP involved, and sending LVO another email with "Urgent" in the subject line can't hurt. They actually replied to one of my urgent emails within a few days, that's how I got to know where my COPR had been sent.

Only the addresses i lived at since my 18th birthday… So 1 other address than my current. This is the only time I've dealt with LVO, everything with my file has been applied for twice ( 2 family class sponsorship as the first was filed inland, 2 times for CSQ, don't know why they returned the first app, 2 times for notes as the first never showed up) Ive emailed countless times and never heard anything back. my representative keeps telling me to relax and its coming soon… he just told me he had a reply from the operations manager stating they will contact me in a few days, but he won't let me see the email as he says he has promised discretion… to me i think he's trying to buy time...

If the operations manager has got involved i'm thinking someone screwed up and you should receive it soon. As for your representative i think he's an arse hole .

Yep… i thought that too!
I met him in the summer, he turned up in a suit and sandals

Almost 5 weeks since DM. . Still no COPR. . . Contacted my MP, they've not heard a thing

>:(

Hi

Please can someone clear something up for me regarding the spreadsheet? - Does application received mean the date it was received according to when the documents were signed for in Mississauga, or when you receive a letter saying it has been received?

Thank you

The date you know it physically arrived at CPC-M, usually based on when it was signed for. :)

Sigh... When we sent off our application it was during the Mississauga 2/3 month frenzy which we were hoping to get in on, and if not London was averaging around 7 or 8 months. Almost 11 months in now and still waiting :'( I'm all for waiting patiently but when 90% of people applying after you that year are approved before your simple application it's hard to sit back and wait patiently! ...not that there's anything else to do.

Ty waiting 20 months and see people get through in 4.. Its a tough wait but its all worth it in the end.
