Thanks Andrew-Brit and everyone else on here who provides such amazing advice and support.

Good luck to everyone !

Congrats Beaverdiva, I hope they look into our files too. They said they will put my wife's file in active processing before end of year. this seems to be the time ... fingers crossed.

We're in total shock at the speed of getting DM to be honest. I hope you hear something soon too.

Just having a wobble.... It won't be bad news will it?

CIC never contacted us for additional info...

Me too. I sent them a CSE late last night asking if they have sent it, at least that way if they answer I will know whether or not to stalk the post every day.

I doubt it, your timeline is similar to mine and I was never asked for any extra docs so you might get your COPR in the post a week after DM was made.

Not a bad news at all, additional docs are not always required. We applied on 3rd July and we were told that we would be finalised before end of year too. We were only told because I requested my wife's file transfered over to Sydney as she is an Australian resident and I argued that they are quicker in terms of processing. LOL

Just a little update. Got my Notes this week and saw that Decision (Approval) was made on 29 October but COPR wasnt sent for printing because of passport photos. The officer then asked someone else to request passport photos and passport scan. Believe it or not the request was only sent on 10 November? Why so long to ask for the docs???

i forwarded the docs via Fedex and they were delivered 16 November. After not getting the COPR for three weeks i emailed LVO on Monday asking if they had received the docs as i hadnt received anything (decision doc) in the mail. I received a response the very next day that docs were received and were currently being processed!!!!

So still waiting for COPR. Hoping i get it before end of the year so i can flagpole before my vistor visa ends on 6 January.

Just to say, getting DM and the actual COPR in your hands can also prove to be quite a wait. Still glad to know that i have been approved.

So I tried calling the Mississauga call centre to ask if my visa has been sent out. She was rude and condescending and would talk over me a lot, and she also said that Decision Made does not mean that your application is finalized?

Ugh.

You should know better than to talk to them , they talk rubbish out their ass ..

Okay guys, 12 months and 3 days after applying, we appear to have Decision Made on ECAS this morning!!! Can I just ask everyone, what will happen next? My partner is a British citizen so will they ask for his passport or anything or will we just receive COPR in the post?

Very excited!!! Thanks to all for your advice and support - this forum is a great help to clear the muddy waters of CIC issues!

About time too! :) :) :)

By the way guys, I forgot to say - once I click on 'Decision Made' there are no new lines added, just the same old ones. Should there be something there? Like 'a decision has been made, we will contact you shortly?' Now I'm actually starting to think maybe DM doesn't always mean good news????

Congratulations .. Andrew and myself haven't seen the second line either yet . I'm thinking it is the lazy officer we have . Nothing we can do now but wait for our corp to arrive in the mail ...
