Great news on our front - COPR arrived in mail today. Delivered from the Canadian High Commission in London in a signed-for package by our lovely rural mail lady: "You 'ave package from England!"

We live outside Ottawa, so we'll be driving to Cornwall or one of the other New York state borders this weekend for a quick flagpole.

MrsArun0914 I have added you, just confirming that the applicant is visa exempt? Visa exempt means they do not need a visa to enter Canada as a visitor. If the applicant is British (among many other nationalities) they are visa exempt.

Hey guys good morning , my heart is racing as I looked into my ecas and it says decision made!! Now I know if you don't hear anything from London and you get decision made that's generally a good thing, but with me having to submit major important documents I am uncertain the outcome. I never had any other email queries to the matter. If someone can put my mind to ease or offer opinion please do

Just wanted to let you know that I finally got my COPR on the 24th of November 2015. Just over a year of waiting but its finally here! Expiry date is 26th October 2016 so plenty of time to land.

Thanks a lot for everyone's help on this forum it has been invaluable and has helped me so much during the wait. Good luck to those still waiting, hope you hear soon!

Omg !!! Tears !!! Decision made on ecas this morning. A day after my birthday so I will take this as a really extra big present. Now the panic hoping it's the positive decision.

Congrats! After DM pops up online it normally takes 1-3 weeks to get the decision in the post, so the fact you haven't got anything is normal! Relax
