No, My wife is. We filled out the form with her applying for the notes, with me signing the consent to say she could access the information.

We have ordered notes a few times and never had any trouble. We did not need to provide proof of where sponsor is located.

I don't get why, as my wife is a Canadian Citizen. Either way she's replied to the email with a copy of my passport stamp and an updated consent form. If that doesn't work we'll just suck up the $5, not like its much anyways!

I think they are asking you to pay because you are not in Canada (according to the spreadsheet - if you are in Canada please tell me your location)

Just to clarify for future members who wish to apply for notes.

Apply for notes via the privacy act if you (the applicant) are currently in Canada.
Apply for notes via the access to information act if you (the applicant) are not in Canada. Costs $5.

One more question. Is there any data on PR card arrival time? I couldn't see it on the spreadsheet but I'm on my phone.

My wife and I would like to take a trip in mid February, which is roughly 45 days. The current waiting time. Can I travel on my Irish passport? I've seen conflicting info on that.

Have just received our notes today too (my wife ordered them October 10). It seems as though this triggered someone other than SB03133 to look at our file (they are MM03186), and there is now a little movement. The file was access on October 15.

Under "Eligibility" there was an update on October 15, updated by MM, and it was changed to: new value: passed. Further on in the notes (under the section marked: "notes") MM makes a note that Eligibility is passed and he is satisfied with the genuineness of the relationship based on info on file, with conditions. UK pc no trace on file pending c review SB - pls follow up with medical section re pa's meds - according to info from pa, underwent meds in Jan 2015. The gap before the c above is in the notes - am presuming it is just missing "medi".

Our medical had somehow gone missing, and after an email from SBX, I resent (via email and standard post) a copy of my medical. The day after they sent the email to me, the file was PA - PUT AWAY. It wasn't opened again until after our request for the notes.

The file doesn't have a PA notation after it was last updated - the location is listed as MM03186 (perhaps he is working on it?)

The rest isn't started, but Security has a due date of 25 October, but Ecas hasn't updated.

No idea what all of this means, maybe someone will be able to translate it, but thought it may be useful info for the spreadsheet etc.

I received my notes today and they make for an interesting read.

Highlights:

• Medical has passed - extended until October 2016. The request to extend my medical was sent to Ottawa on October 17th. I was asked for countries visited and illnesses on October 15th. They included my response in their request to Ottawa. My medical was extended on October 21st. Due date is November 20th 2015
• Eligibility has passed. Passed on October 8th. Officer added note saying they are satisfied with relationship being genuine on October 8th. Due date is November 13th 2015
• Criminality is in progress from October 8th. A request was sent to RCMP for screening and came back on October 9th saying No Reportable Trace. Due date is October 31st 2015
• Security has not started. Due date is October 18th 2015

In the note on October 8th the officer wrote

So it seems like passing eligibility kicked everything else off.

Does anyone know what else needs to be done for criminality to be passed other than a Canadian RCMP screening?

Also the 2 sections which I have passed (medical and eligibility) have a due date in the future, whereas the 2 sections I am still waiting on (criminality and security) have a due date in the past. Does anyone know if I am likely to hear by the furthest due date (November 20th) or if they will not reach a decision until after then even though that section has passed?

At the bottom of every page of the notes it will say Date Generated. What does it say for yours? Sometimes they produce the notes as soon as they receive the request which means when it comes to sending them out the information could be out of date. My notes were generated on October 28th.

Got the request for photocopy of my passport and two more photos today. Instructions unclear about the sending it to Ottawa part so just sent everything to London, but put my parents address on the self addressed envelope so that my parents can then send it to me express, rather than waiting for whatever method of post CIC decide to use. Hoping that that's ok and it doesn't cause any problems!

Edit: Regarding getting the request for passport scans, photos and updated information chart - I personally think think it is due to either location or perhaps the principal applicant's passport expiry.

I am looking at the 2014 sheet and the users who got that request. The majority have a Canadian location, but some have a non-Canadian location so either they moved to Canada and did not update the spreadsheet, which would mean that only those in Canada get the request, or it is related to passport and/or length of time from originally supplying photos to DM.

I sent London my new passport info in July so I am hoping that this negates the need for the request.

They were generated on the 15 October, so I guess they are probably a month out of date. You think it's worth ordering some more?

A follow up to this - our DM came on August 28th which is when they supposedly sent us correspondence. We assumed paper.Nothing ever arrived at the London address and in the meantime he had moved to Toronto as a visitor and we updated our address. Followed up twice as ourselves and through the MP (so 3 times in total). Today, 74 days after they "sent us correspondence" we got an EMAIL asking us to send the above info mentioned: photos, passport scan etc.

We are frustrated beyond hope, will NOT send it to the London address but the Ottawa address (where our app is being processed) and who knows how long they will take to send the COPR in the mail after that point. How it takes so bloody long to re-issue an email is beyond my comprehension.

Yes, u can add your spouse to your application before landing. The thing is your circumstance would have changed from single to married. CiC would have to issue u a new CoPR, together with your spouse to reflect your new status. In that case, u have to wait for CiC to complete the addition of your spouse to your application. If you try to land after informing CiC about your spouse, u could be prevented from landing.

Two options are available to u. With your CoPR in hand, u can choose to land and then sponsor your spouse to join u which was the option I chose or wait (not land) and add your spouse and allow CiC complete the process and issue both of you new CoPR. This 2nd option could take 6 months to complete.

Checked my eCAS this morning around 11:15 a.m (Pakistan Standard Time), 6:15 a.m. (London Time), there it is "Decision Made". Certainly it was a long haul of 15 months, now waiting for PPR
