Update: Back in July we received a letter asking for repeat medicals for my husband and our non accompany dependent who by the way is now 22. Then on July 23rd we received another letter stating the repeat medical was only needed for my husband and if the dependent is accompanying him to Canada . Medical was done for hubby 5th of August . We sent a letter via email saying that the dependent was still not accompanying with his dad to Canada therefore did not require to do a repeat medical as stated in the letter dated July 23rd 2015. We did this twice,as each letter was cc to both myself the sponsor and the applicant

TODAY we received another letter stating that they have not received any communication from us since the medical was requested and we have 30 days comply before they make a final decision on our application which could result in a refusal ..

Honestly i don't know how many more time CIC IS GOING TO f.. ME AROUND. I am not a happy camper today ..

Spreadsheet updated. Honestly what is London doing with your application?

Do you have the receipt/medical info sheet from the medical he did on 5th of August? I suggest sending it again via a CSE and an email and pass a copy of it to your MP and ask them to give it London.

It is cases like yours which does not give me much hope taffy, I sent them requested info (list of countries visited since medical) on October 15th and I have not heard anything since then. I have been in process for 50 days.

So sorry to hear this ... Disheartening ! fingers crossed it all comes together for you sooner than later

I am so ready to just pack it in again... I have emailed and emailed and that's all i get is a response that they have received our emails. No there correspondent from then since July . Now we have to wait another 30 days before they look at our file. I did email them via reply to sender twice.. just in case they miss the first one, attached medical to second one and the letters they sent to me telling us the non accompany dependent does not require a repeat medical . Unfortunately i couldn't find the letter i sent to them telling them that the dependent was still not coming with his dad. Going to call my MP ,GET THEM TO SEND EMAIL.

Hey everyone, not PR related unfortuently. Just interesting. I posted back last month stating how I applied for a visitor extension of 1 year and recieved two. I have now seen posts for 2 others who asked for 6 months and recieved 2 years.

I wonder if this is because PR apps are taking longer atm.

I think they really like you there Taffy and don't want to let you go from that office ;) you case is the weirdest I've read about in this forum!!! Send them copies of emails what you sent them before as well just so they know there was a communication!!!

and here I am thinking there is a good news from you.

I am so sorry for this mess. I hope they can straighten out everything soon.

I was under the impression that non-accompanying members had to go through medical as well. But in your case, they had stated he didn't need to. Ahh take number of SF from Andrew ;), and then call him.

Good luck.

He did have a medical back last year.. this is what they said in the letter we received in July

Please be advised that,in order for us to continue processing your application, we require repeat examination for you and IF YOUR DEPENDENT IS ACCOMPANYING YOU TO CANADA for your dependent also ...

So they have asked today for a repeat medical for a non accompany dependent. honestly was i reading this wrong.. AND IF i thought meant if he had changed his mind, which they can do until papers are ready to be issued. I emailed then a letter right after my husbands medical to let them know his son was not coming..

Hey fellow Londoners,
I got my COPR today. I applied on Feb 26th and it all came through today, so to give you an idea of timings, it took just over 10 months for me. I've got 1 year to land, but we're planning on moving end of January. We just want to get out there!

:D ;D :P
