Maybe just maybe they have already made decision and sent COPR already and were too lazy to update ECAS. The mysteries of CIC!

Edit: Taffy do your notes say when your background and criminality checks were completed?

I was thinking that too. I have all the bases covered. My girlfriend is renting our house in the U.K. so got that covered,and i go to the mail box every day . Each time i go i think oh maybe just maybe.... every thing was passed on the 15th /17th of July then medical passed 7th of August. That's two days after we did our re medical . it also says complete no surveillance required but it has a date valid till 2015/11/21

;) I like that, cover all the bases! So you passed your checks days before you went in process, makes no sense why you still haven't heard anything. Since they haven't bothered to update the address on ECAS but on paper, lets hope you will receive something in the mail even though ECAS hasn't updated to DM. All the best.

Yeah we had all that in a first email of around the middle of August, except the request for police certificate which we got (along with a load of other folk) a couple of weeks later.

ECAS changed to In Process before we got the email and the only update since has been it's now showing the "Medicals Received" line as of last week.

Just emailed our docs and got a 'DO NOT REPLY' email straight away saying that due to the high number of inquiries their standard was to get back in 20 working days. We replied in response to the Doc request email they sent...

It also lists some details that you must state in your email body:
* Surname and Given name(s);
* Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD);
* Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number;
* Category of Immigration (CEC, Provincial Nominee, Family Class, Federal Skilled Worker, Temporary Resident

We didn't state DOB or category of immigration.

Did you get an email like this too? Not sure if we should add those 2 lines and resend it...?! Am also considering sending the docs by post as well, not sure if this will be an issue with things doubling up then...?

Yeah I've emailed them a few times over the process and always got that automated reply back.

First couple of times I didn't include anything except my Application Number and full name and they were able to change my mailing address and (eventually) associate my medical results with my file.

I'm pretty sure if you've supplied your uci, applicantion number, name and are replying from their email that they've got on file they'll have no problems associating the documents with your application.

If it was me I wouldn't bother sending in physical copies, but like most advice on this board that's just my opinion. If it'll set your mind at ease it certainly won't do any harm to do that too.

Oh the mysteries of CIC ... I received this today, my lawyer couriered the documents on Monday and we both emailed them to the London email address this is yet a new response .. I am assuming they mean the emailed information and not the original copy. Hears hoping the process keeps moving along

Please note that we have received your supporting documents and we have attached them to your application.

If further information is needed, the responsible office may contact you.

Spreadsheet updated with their email to you. I take it the email from you and your lawyer was just a digital copy of your ACRO?

Lets hope by the time the Calgary meetup is upon us we both have PR in hand!

Thank you Andrew-brit
Yes that's right; we both sent scanned documents and she wrote a cover letter stating that the original copy had been couriered which should of arrived today.

Goodness lets hope my fingers and toes are getting sore from being crossed for so long.

that would be make the meet up a Celebration indeed :D

Hi I thought I'd let you know of my situation as I've been following the board quite closely over the past month. I've applied for PR via spousal sponsorship. My wife and kids are Canadian citizens. I applied to Mississauga on November 7th 2014. I received the spousal approval letter on February 11th 2015 and was told that London would be processing my application. Medical results were sent on March 12th 2015 and were confirmed as having been received. My status on CIC changed to 'In Process' on October 8th 2015. I've been in Canada since August 22nd waiting on my COPR. I'm approaching the dreaded one year anniversary of my application. Any of you guys on here feel that my COPR would be imminent as I'm currently unable to work and don't want to have to return to Ireland without the family.......Thanks in advance!!!

Welcome Beal Feirste,

Have you checked out the London outland spreadsheet? It is a great tool as it tracks applications processed in London. It is maintained by myself and another member of this forum, and in this thread people post their updates and we update the spreadsheet. The link to the spreadsheet is in my signature.

Based on your post I presume you never included your medical/never did your medical until March 2015? I ask because some of those who complete the medical before applying have been contacted either for a new medical or for a list of countries visited since the medical exam.

Your visa could come at any time now, but as you can see from the spreadsheet there are applicants waiting who applied in January 2014 and somehow there are applicants approved in February 2015. How that is possible I have no idea!

Finally if you include your location (closest city is fine) I can add you to the spreadsheet, the more data we have the better.

Hi Andrew I'm currently in Calgary. I've noticed that there are some waiting longer than others but are those still waiting keeping you up to date with their situation or are they just forgetting about the spreadsheet once they've been granted PR? It is kind of daunting waiting and seeing no movement when people have applied long before others have.......

I basically maintain the spreadsheet 24/7 and am constantly contacting the applicants who have not updated us in a while. From early 2014 only users smithyutd, akki464 and CANdid have not informed of any recent updates, everyone else in the first half of the year is active (meaning they have visited the forum within the last month and/or posted a recent update).

Also I am in Calgary, I am organizing a meetup for members of this forum and BritishExpats, it is on November 20th. If you want more info click here.

Edit: I have added you to the spreadsheet, please have a look and let me know if I missed anything.
