Update, received my COPR in the mail yesterday :) I'm going to drive to the American/Canadian border at the weekend to land. 3 days off 15 months in total for the process from start to finish.

I want to thank all the mods on the forum, think I may have lost my *censored word* over the course of the waiting time without the forum and its members to help.

Good luck to everyone else, esp Taffy, I hope you get yours soon!

Are you going to stay over the weekend in states or just driving there and back?? We are thinking about doing the same thing but I need to get my US visa organized first so I would have to drive through Calgery so just wondering how that can be done...

you can do it on line pay for it and print it out ,done this many times for my family that has come from the U.K then they decided to go to Niagara then stay over in Buffalo. Or you can stand in line at the boarder and they will do it then .

what you going to do ??

Hey Everyone,

I received COPR through the post yesterday just 2 days after ECAS changed to decision made 8) ;D :D :P 8), my complete application has been processed in just under 11 months, my visa office was London.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that has helped me throughout my journey especially Andrew (Andrew-brit), we are so lucky to have the forum and people like him, thanks again.

holidays in mexico hehe not sure what to do.. Iceland maybe :)

Hey Everyone, So an update on my medical. I re sent it and I received a reply stating that they have added it to my application. As of yet I see no update on ECAS. Under SA it doesn't even say decision made it still says in process so that has yet to be updated too.

Now the part that has me skeptical. Under 'Permanent Residence Application Status' I have 'In process' with a message -

We received Brit-In-Alberta's application for permanent residence on July 3, 2015.
We started processing Brit- In- Alberta's application on September 17, 2015.

I know in the past this was an indication that an immigration officer was looking at the application and you are nearing the end. I'd love to think that London is zooming through applications and I have actually gone straight into processing but at not even 3 months in, I doubt it.

I've heard speculation that this is now what London do when they receive an application. That's disappointing as now I won't know in the future when I am nearing the end :-[

I suppose it could just mean that they took a quick look at my application, just to check the police certificate, medical etc was all included and now it will probably sit in a pile for months.

Any thoughts?

Thanks! Although our status online was not changed yesterday. Just received the letter. DId you status change to 'In process' DPParmar? Mine still says only 'Application Received'

So today our status has been changed to 'In process', when I click on it, it still says "We received your application for permanent residence on XX" but just happy to be looking at something else instead of Application Received. You may want to check your status DPParmar.

I've just checked and ours has changed to ''In Process" as well! Although like yours when we click on it it still only has 1. We received your application...

And definitely, one step closer!

Lierdoc and DPParmer spreadsheet updated.
