Well, I have some somewhat good news.

Some action from Missisauga: my ECAS was updated today to SA: decision made. Apparently they sent something on June 17th. No email so I guess we wait for the postie. ???

To think my bf and I were just discussing the other day that this putting our lives on hold isn't easy....

Now we just pray that we'll be the miracle application that stays in Missisauga. ::)

Congratulations. I would definitely double check your email address and you ticked the box saying communication by email.

Salam-0-Alikum,

I hope everyone is well on this forum. Here is my timeline, please see and advise me as to what I should expect next…

Married Dec. 2013
Application Submitted Dec. 2014
Letter from CIC Received March 13th, 2015 (File Transferred to London Visa Office)
Online Status Shows: Application and Medical Received

What's NEXT?

Also, I have a general question with regards to updating my application; I gave birth to my daughter here in Canada in Feb. 2015 and I would like to inform the LVO. How and where do I go to update this information.

Actually, I had received an email from CIC confirming that my file has been transfered, in that same email I was also told that should I need to submit additional information or make any further enquiries regarding the Application for Permanent Residence for my husband I may contact the visa office by e-mail, fax, or in writing.

Below this statement I was given the mailing address and the fax; however, in the space where it was to list the email address it was left blank. I am not sure why this was the case as I do need this email address in order to update my information.

So if anyone can, please forward me this email address where I can fwd my documents to update my file. If someone has this email please reply here or send it to my email at i.hum00@yahoo.com

Hi ALL

A Quick Question Please.

I didn't do an Upfront Medical Exam, and have now been asked in SA Approval email to do it and submit directly to London Visa Office.

Does anyone know their mailing address? Is this the one?

High Commission of Canada
Canada House,

Hi All,
I've been obsessing with the spreadsheet this morning. I try to only do this once a week. I'm just looking at all the applications that are being processed at the London office. I see huge gaps in May and most of June. This means these applications are going over a year now to be processed. I know the spreadsheet isn't always 100% up to date as not everyone notifies the forum when their application is approved but do you think it's safe to say it is officially over a year now for processing times? I was feeling hopeful as many before May appeared to be approved just short of a year. Also some going through London have been processed much quicker, is this just pure luck?

Quick question as I checked our status update I've just noticed it says 'Application Received' rather an 'IN PROCESS' does this mean the same thing? I don't want to be paranoid but also don't want to risk waiting if this means London isn't working on our application. Under Sponsorship Application it says ' Decision Made' but then under Permanent Residence Application it says 'Application Received' but I think this may refer to received in Canada, hope I'm wrong.
